OUT OF THE BOX KITCHEN BACKSPLASH 1'8" x 8'3" August 2000 This mosaic backsplash is the focal point of the kitchen/lounge of Columbus-based Out of the Box Integrated Advertising. Adapted from an original illustration by Puerto Rican designer Jeremy Rosario, this colorful mosaic celebrates the joys of caffeine in the creative work place. Closer examination of the mosaic reveals fragments of logos from broken mugs given to the agency by clients over the years. The bright colors contrast the clean elegance of the white gloss Ikea cabinetry, bringing life and excitement to the large kitchen.
